On-site cremation services

The crematory at Evergreen East Funeral Home has a peaceful viewing room for families who want a witness cremation. We offer a catalog of traditional cremation urns, keepsake urns and cremation jewelry to keep your loved one close to you after the service.

Evergreen Cemetery East

Evergreen Cemetery East comprises 95 West Texas acres of mature Afghan pines, elm trees and more. It is home to hundreds of rabbits, quail and owls, which can often be seen as you walk the cemetery grounds. The large size of the cemetery allows us to accommodate especially large services, like the breathtaking memorial for a law enforcement officer that included bagpipers and more than 50 fellow officers lined up in a field.

We care for El Paso

The team at Evergreen East Funeral Home and Evergreen Cemetery East love being part of the El Paso community. We partner with organizations like Mothers Against Drunk Driving, Club del Angel and Strong Coalition. Throughout the year, we give back through these organizations. One example: With Club del Angel and other area funeral homes, we raised money and collected items like clothing and food for 4 children who lost their mother.

Our Mother’s Day Remembrance and Christmas services are open to the public. These special events provide a time of reflection for families who have lost someone they love. The holiday service features a tree lighting and opportunity for families to hang custom-made ornaments with their loved ones' names on our tree.

History

Evergreen Cemetery East opened in the 1960s to serve the growing community beyond the capacity of the city’s original cemetery, which dates to the 1800s. Created out of a need to serve the growing east side of El Paso, Evergreen East Funeral Home opened on January 30, 2017, on the grounds of Evergreen Cemetery East, giving the city's residents their first option of planning a funeral, cremation and burial at the same location.
